Veya is a platform connecting people with surf, fitness, yoga, pilates, and wellness experiences provided by independent local professionals ("Pros"). Movers can book sessions, and Pros can offer them through the app.

How does Veya work?

Veya connects:

  • Movers - people looking to book activities
  • Pros - instructors offering sessions

Everything - search, booking, payment, reviews - happens inside the app.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Veya is pay-per-session only. No monthly fees or commitments.

Are Pros verified?

+

Not at this stage. Movers help build trust through ratings and feedback.

Payments, Security & Data

How do payments work?

+

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Movers pay at booking; Pros are paid after the session is completed.

What payment methods are available?

Based on region:

  • Debit/credit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Other Stripe-supported methods

Does Veya store card details?

No. All card information is encrypted and stored by Stripe.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes. Veya follows GDPR-compliant data practices.

Cancellations & Refunds

Who sets cancellation rules?

Pros define their own cancellation window for each session.

How do refunds work?

+

If you cancel within the allowed window, a refund is processed automatically via Stripe.

What if a Pro cancels?

+

You receive a full refund immediately.

How do I create an account?

Many are. Each session displays its recommended level.

What should I bring?

Each session shows equipment and clothing recommendations.

Booking Sessions

How do I book?

+

Tap the session, select time, pay, and receive instant confirmation.

Where do I see my bookings?

+

Profile > My Sessions.

How do I cancel?

+

Open your session and tap Cancel Booking. You will see if you're still within the cancellation window.

What if I cancel too late?

+

Late cancellations are non-refundable.

What if I don't show up?

+

No-shows are treated as late cancellations.

What if the Pro cancels?

+

You receive a full refund.

Payments

When am I charged?

+

At the moment of booking.

Do I get a receipt?

+

Yes. Automatically emailed.

Why was my payment declined?

+

Possible reasons include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Incorrect details
  • Bank restrictions
  • Unsupported method

Try a different payment option.

Packages

What are Packages?

Discounted bundles of sessions offered by individual Pros.

Are Packages transferable?

+

No. They apply only to the specific Pro who created them.

Do Packages expire?

+

Yes - expiry date appears before purchase and in My Packages.

Can Packages be refunded?

+

Depends on the Pro's policy.

Reviews & Community

Can I leave a review?

Yes. After attending a session, you can rate the Pro and leave feedback.

Becoming a Pro

How do I become a Veya Pro?

Apply through the website or app under Become a Pro.

Are Pros verified?

+

Not for now. Quality is community-driven through ratings & reviews.

Do I need any certifications?

+

You must meet the legal & professional standards required in your region.

Creating & Managing Sessions

How do I create a session?

+

Dashboard > Create Session and input:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Category
  • Duration
  • Price
  • Capacity
  • Meeting point
  • Equipment info
  • Cancellation window

How do I add availability?

+

Inside a session > Add Availability:

  • Recurring weekly slots
  • One-time specific dates
  • Multiple time options

Can I edit a session?

+

Yes. Updates apply to future bookings.

Can I delete a session?

+

Only if there are no upcoming bookings.

Managing Bookings

How do I view who booked?

+

Dashboard > Bookings.

Can I message Movers?

+

Yes, through in-app messaging (if enabled in your region).

What if a Mover doesn't show up?

+

Your no-show policy applies. If your rules say "no refund," you still earn the full amount.

Payments & Payouts

How do Movers pay me?

+

Through Stripe at the moment of booking.

When do I get paid?

+

After the session is completed. Stripe payout timing varies (2-7 business days).

Where can I see earnings?

+

Dashboard > Earnings.

How do I update bank information?

+

Dashboard > Payout Settings - managed via Stripe.

Cancellations & Refunds

Can I set my own cancellation window?

+

Yes - choose how many hours before the session Movers can cancel with a refund.

What if I cancel a session?

+

Movers are notified and refunded automatically.

Do I get paid for late cancellations?

+

If your policy states so, yes.

Packages for Pros

What are Packages?

+

Bundles of sessions you can offer at discounted rates.

How do I create a Package?

+

Dashboard > Packages > Create Package.

Can I define refund rules for Packages?

+

Yes - you choose whether a package is refundable.

How do payouts work with Packages?

+

You are paid as each session within the package is completed.

Responsibilities & Safety

Am I responsible for safety?

+

Yes. Pros must run safe and compliant activities.

Do I need insurance?

+

Highly recommended and required for some activities.

Do I need to provide equipment?

+

If required. Make sure to list it clearly in the session details.
